Whats New in Android Oreo? When Will I Get It?

Whats New in Android Oreo? When Will I Get It? Android Oreo is now official, Google announced the latest version of software on
august 21,2017.
Now the question is that when did users get
the new update on their phones?

Whats New In Android Oreo?

Android Oreo brings several changes to
existing features as well as all new
features.

Here are some of the key features you should
know about Android Oreo when it rolls out to
your smartphone.

1. Background limits

Android Oreo is introduced on larger concern
on saving power saving power and improving
battery life without a third party
application.
In developers words,
“Android Oreo helps minimize background
activity in the apps you use least, it’s the
super power you can’t even see”

2. Picture-in-picture

Currently, Android TV has a native PiP
display method but handsets use a standard
multi-window view. But now onwards android
users can also enjoy PiP view in their smart
phones.
In Android Oreo, we can reduce the size of
an app into a small secondary window that
can be positioned anywhere on the screen. For
example, a video player window can be shrunk
and moved so that you can browse the internet on
the same time.

3. Notification channels and dots

Google writes: “Users can block or change
the behavior of each channel individually,
rather than managing all of the apps’
notifications together.”
That is user can access notification from
different apps at the different place instead of
clubbing all of them together.
Also, You’ll be able to snooze notifications
for specified time intervals (like 5
mints,25minuts,30 minutes).
Notification dots are visual indicators
which allow us to know whether there is any
notification inside the app.

4. Autofill APIs

Google explains: “Android users already
depend on a range of password managers to
auto-fill login details and repetitive
information, which makes setting up new apps
or placing transactions easier. Now we’re
making this work more easily available
across the ecosystem by adding platform
support for autofill.”
Which means you can save Your frequently
used usernames and passwords in Android
itself. It will save a lot of time.

5.Camera app improvements

Oreo introduces a new double-tap feature that
lets you quickly get to 50% zoom.

There’s also a new button that allows you
switch between photo and video modes.
